Privacy Policy

This policy describes what B Square Web LLC collects when you use bsquareweb.com, why we collect it and what we do with it. It is written to be read rather than to satisfy a template, but it is not legal advice and you should have your own counsel review your equivalent policy.
What we collect
Only two categories of information:
- Information you send us. Your name, business name, email address, phone number, website and whatever you write in a message, when you submit a form on this site.
- Basic analytics. Pages visited, approximate region, referring source and device type, collected in aggregate so we can see which pages are useful.
We do not collect payment details through this website. Invoices are issued separately through our payment processor, which handles card data directly and never passes it to us.
Why we collect it
Form submissions are used to reply to you and, if you become a client, to deliver the work. Analytics are used to decide which pages to improve. That is the entire list.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent or trade your information to anybody.
- We do not add you to a marketing list because you filled in a form. If you want our occasional notes, you have to ask.
- We do not run retargeting pixels on this website.
- We do not use your business as a case study without asking you first, in writing.
Who else sees it
A small number of service providers process data on our behalf: our email host, our analytics provider, our payment processor and our project management tool. Each is bound by its own agreement to process the data only for the purpose we engaged them for.
We will disclose information if legally required to do so, and we will tell you if that happens unless we are prohibited from doing so.
How long we keep it
Form submissions from people who do not become clients are deleted after twelve months. Client records are kept for seven years after the engagement ends, which is what our accountants and the relevant tax authorities require.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email sales@bsquareweb.com and we will action it within thirty days. There is no form to fill in and we will not ask why.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Our analytics provider sets a single first-party cookie to distinguish one visit from another. You can block it in your browser and every part of this site will continue to work normally.
